This is where it all started for Giuliano Sorgini in terms of his fame as an occult composer – one who, being perfectly at ease with a certain type of Italian horror cult films, has gradually come to represent the quintessence of frightening Italian film music. Side A contains the soundtrack’s main theme (‘John Dalton Street’), an infectious, psychedelic zombie-funk piece reprised on side B (‘Manchester M2 6LD’). To top it all, the (fittingly scary!) front cover reproduces the original film poster by painter Sandro Symeoni.
