Short-lived Italian pop outfit Plustwo recorded two EPs between 1983 and 1984 and one of them gets a re-issue on Best Record. “Melody” is all very cute and catchy with its pitch bend synth bass, Klavier stabs, and Kate Bush-like vocals. On the flip “Stop Fantasy” is more straight-up disco for night people that you’d find yourself singing and clapping along to in no time. A favorite for many a seasoned record digger now’s your chance to snap up a worthwhile Italo gem.
