One of Piero Piccioni’s most sought-after scores gets reissued on the LP format for the first time. For 1972’s ‘Una Tomba Aperta… Una Bara Vuota’, an Italian-Spanish horror movie directed by Alfonso Balcázar (a.k.a. Al Bagram), Piccioni blended elements of jazz-noir, chamber music, and the Giallo tradition, with delightful result.
