Welcome to this installment of Four Flies’ 12-inch vinyl series for DJs! This time, Neapolitan-born producer pAd has put a dance-floor spin on two themes from Alessandro Alessandroni’s soundtrack to the 1976 pulp/noir film ‘Sangue Di Sbirro’, giving them the double treatment with a “daylight” and a “nightclub” version each. These brilliant reworks at once respect the spirit of the originals and give them new life in the present – a time where the music of a genius like Alessandroni is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
